When you look at the routes of the Tour, the Giro, the Vuelta and every other race, however small, one wonders – as a famous journalist once  did – whether the real performance in cycling is given by the cyclists or the fans, or both equally.

It’s hard to imagine Antarctica in its entirety. We can only truly appreciate its location by looking at a globe, because it truly is a World at the End of the World: a kind of imperceptible closeness between continents – South America, Africa and Oceania – that appear extremely far away on a normal world map.

This is the story of Eddie and Mark, Karim and LeBron, and all those records that exist only to be broken. 38,387 is the total points record that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar held in the NBA for over 40 years. It was a record that not even Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time, managed to break. 

For two days, at the foot of its twenty-one legendary hairpin bends, Wilier brought together brand ambassadors, friends, and riders from across Europe. More than just a gathering, it was a retreat aimed at placing them at the very heart of the world’s greatest cycling race. In doing so, we aimed to share that experience with everyone who couldn’t be there.
