The middle and rear section of the frame have sleeker silhouettes than the previous generation of the product. The result? The frame is lighter by a generous 300 g. And less weight means better acceleration with every attack.

Design World Tour
The Turbine SLR is the result of the constant liaising between our Innovation Lab and the Astana team performance managers. The project was coined to accommodate the needs of professional cyclists who are increasingly faced with time trials on routes packed with bends, changes in direction and climbs. Under these conditions, the weight really can make a difference.
Compliant with UCI standards
As of 1st January 2023 the highest governing body of cycling introduced a register which defines the riding parameters based on the height of each cyclist (category 1, 2 and 3). Our platform is in a position to satisfy the needs of all athletes, including those who are taller than 190 cm.
Maximum adaptability
The handlebar base bar and the carbon fibre aero extensions have been completely restyled. The cable routing is fully integrated and every single component implements a monocoque construction with no joints or bonding. The 380 mm centre-centre handlebar base bar accommodates two extensions which can be positioned at two different widths: 125 and 140 mm. Each extension in turn can be adjusted from 0 to 75 mm in height thanks to the 40, 20, 10 and 5 mm shim pack.
We have confirmed the three frame sizes of the previous generation of the product: S, M, L. Thanks also to the feedback received from our Athletes, the new Turbine SLR mimics the geometries of the Turbine. When a machine is close to perfection, why change it?

- Is there an anti-rotation mechanism for the handlebars?Yes, a special metal part is inserted along the fork-to-frame fixing axle, which prevents the handlebar from rotating completely. This also prevents the ends of the handlebars from hitting the bike frame.
- What is the weight difference compared to the previous Turbine model?The Turbine SLR frame was specially designed to be lighter than the previous version, without compromising the excellent aerodynamic result.
The overall weight of the frame is now 300g lighter. - What is the main characteristic of the TURBINE SLR bar?TURBINE SLR features a handlebar designed with the fundamental requirements of the bike in mind: lightness and aerodynamics.The handlebar is stiff so as to allow a homogenous lay up of carbon, without having to create superstructures that would have made the component heavier. The low set-up of the handlebar reduces the frontal footprint and improves the aerodynamic position of the rider.
- Which groupsets are compatible with the TURBINE SLR?The TURBINE SLR is compatible with the latest generation electronic groupsets. In particular, it comes standard with Dura-Ace 12s and Ultegra 12s groupsets.
