AGREEMENT RENEWED WITH TEAM DIRECT ENERGIE

Wilier Triestina is pleased to announce its continuing partnership with the Team Direct Energie for 2019. The collaboration with the French team will proceed as technical sponsorship, replicating the commitment undertaken in 2018.
Following a season marked by many significant successes, the Italian company with headquarters in Rossano Veneto will once more be at the side of the French team and its feeder team Vendée U with the finest road and time trial products.
Andrea Gastaldello, CEO of Wilier Triestina: “We’re very happy to continue our collaboration with the Direct Énergie Team, which fully reflects our approach to challenges. The team is always on the offensive, a bit like us, every day taking on the constant arrival of new challenges that the market sets before us – fortunately with success. In this first season of partnership, we’ve developed bikes of great significance, sophisticated, high-performance products, thanks to feedback from successful cyclists with extensive experience. The first product presented as a prototype at Paris-Nice was the new Wilier Turbine time trial frame. At the Tour de France, on the other hand, we presented Cento10PRO, a development of the previous best-selling Cento10AIR product. We can’t wait for the next season to begin and to see, as well as the established cyclists, newcomers like Niki Terpstra and Niccolò Bonifazio, enhance their performance with our bikes.”
Jean-René Bernaudeau, General Manager of Team Direct Energie:”On behalf of the Team Direct Energie, I would like to thank Wilier Triestina for the quality of the products and their responsiveness which delighted us on this first year of partnership. The technology and innovation brought on the biggest stage races and also the classics have satisfied all of our riders. The high level imposes excellence on us, and Wilier Triestina offers it to us”.
In particular, the Team Direct Energie will be equipped with the following bikes: Cento10PRO in its disc-brake version, Wilier Turbine for time trials and Cento10NDR for cobblestone races.
