DREITZ 2nd AT CHALLENGE ROTH

Great result for Andreas Dreitz who took an impressive 2nd place in first ever participation at the Roth Challenge, the international full-distance triathlon event that took place on Sunday 1st July in Roth (Germany), with tens of thousands people as live public and more than 4.000 participants. 

 

Dreitz, after a solid swimming start, was on the saddle of his Turbine bike one of the best in the 180km of cycling part, arriving into the transition second zone in 3rd place. During the final 42km of running, Andi passed australian athlete Cameron Wurt, coming into the Triathlon Stadium of Roth in 2nd position with the final time of 7:53:06.

 

The victory went to Sebastian Kienle, while the last podium place was took by american Jesse Thomas. 

 

The next race for Andi Dreitz will be the 70.3 Ironman World Championships, scheduled for September 1st in South Africa.
